Accessing Dropbox Files
Dropbox is a secure online document storage location that is used by our firm to share documents and other information with our clients. By utilizing Dropbox, you have access to case documents and files 24 hours per day and documents are stored securely and are not susceptible to any security issues related to sending documents directly by email. You can access Dropbox by going to www.dropbox.com. If you do not have a Dropbox account, you will be required to create one. There is no charge for creating a Dropbox account and you can create other folders to store documents and information that is not shared with our firm. If you are already a Dropbox user, you are welcome to add the shared folder to your account so you have quick access to the information.
Once you have signed in or created an account, Dropbox folders can be viewed through any web browser, directly on your computer by downloading the Dropbox program, or on any smartphone or tablet by downloading the Dropbox app from the appropriate app store. To view files stored in Dropbox, simply click on the folder and then click on the file you would like to view.
