Can We Just Use the KCRAR Commercial Forms?

Yes, you can; however, please keep in mind that those forms were created to cover the majority of situations, which means they are not drafted for your specific transaction. The terms will generally be fairly neutral and not favorable to either party.  Moreover, if there are unique characteristics, it may be difficult to make the form work.  Finally, many times the other side will be represented by an attorney who will be looking out for the interests of the other side. Therefore, it is generally best to have someone who is specifically looking out for your interests in the transaction.

What If There Are Numerous Rounds of Negotiation? Will I Have to Pay More?
